This song was sang in the tenor part, which helps many people sing along to it since it isn't too high pitched or low pitched and has a moderat tempo. He also has a very distinct accent. My favorite album by him is "Legends Never Die." Unfortunately he passed away on December 8, 2019. He was pretty much on everybody's playlist. The song is consistent keeping a steady beat and keeping with the melancholy tone. The song is sung mostly solo by a tenor with occasional choral backup of mostly other tenors. Unlike other songs that can somewhat produce the same feeling this song is a more largo song. The song has a major crescendo that leads to the chorus. Other songs that provoke the same feelings would be We'll Meet Again which is sung by multiple basses and tenors which make up The Ink Spots. The album of "Everywhere at The End of Time" by The Caretaker isn't really a song made to be catchy or good it's only meant to articulate a deep meaning. The album is very loved despite simply being multiple variations of the same songs playing for 6 hours which brings the question "Well what makes it love?" the answer is message and theme. The message or theme is dementia, based on an art project of an Alzheimer patient doing a self portrait yearly after being diagnosed. I took time out of my day to listen to the whole thing only to cry at the end.
