How would you describe the feel of the rhythm?

My first impression of this particular song is that its extremley catchy. One reason for this is due to the mainstream time signature of 4/4. With the repetiton and the quick movements, this song could also be considered as minimising. The main element that is keping the song in time is the kick drop. Therefore its considered very upbeat. With the lryics very rhytmic; the words bounce off one another. This suggests the song is very funky and positive. The melody is very repetitive which indicates why this song could be considered as 'catchy'. Overall, Elvis Presley is known for his classic Rock n Roll tunes. This song instantly steals your attention and you can automatically feel your body response in a small movement. in conclusion, the atmopshere created most definetly portrays happiness and joy (All positive emotions).

What instruments/sounds create the main rhytmic feel? is there more than one?

In the intro, there is a solo instrument which I believe is a deep bass. This then becomes accompanied by vocalists who whistles. After this has been played, there is a small anticapted pause where then all instruments come in together. Id most defiently the centre of the song is the beat produced by the drum and the several options of percussion; tamborine, claps, and clicks. This is the second loudest aspect of the song for the verses aswell as for the chorus. Therefore it being so very forward must imply its important and they wanted it to be heard. However, in the chorus, which I'd say is considered the most crucial part. I know this due to the song title being the main chorus lyric. The orchestra features in the chorus mainly, which holds the chords and a small melodic aspect. Overall, the main instruments that make up this particular song is the beat produced by the drum, percussion and the trumpets. Another aspect to this song is that the intro isn't actually the official creation for this song. it is from 'Jailhouse rock'. Therefore could create some great confusion for the big Elvis fans such as myself! I absolutely adored this version, it most defiantly creates mixed emotions of passion.
