One negative was that it it very hard to be in a groug with people you hate and then you aall argue and then you all fail but its not your fault its your teachers

One positive I have is that most of my book club members talk and most of them are my friends. I like when I am book clubs with my friends.

the things i like about book club is that you can work with other people and talk about the story and see what they think about it and there different perspectives.

things i don't like is when the other people don't read or are just not interested in the book club and not participating and doing the work.

I had a group Member that couldn't stop complaining and going ahead of everyone else and than blaming my group when that person didn't read the story.

Sometimes people get placed with others they don't want to be with.

Also, some may have an interest in a specific genre or topic and they may not be in the options for the book club

See different perspectives

Not everyone reads

Some books just are boring to read

Discussions can get out of topic

Work on groups slow the process a bit

Get back and re-read chapters to find specifics things on the text

I hate the fact that we have to read individually because sometimes people don't even read the book, and their excuse is that they hate the book, even though they chose that book. Also, some of the people just don't even try to help when there is a paper we need to complete as an entire group.

I liked how in book clubs, we could work with people we wanted to. We could also choose the books we wanted to read. I didn't like how some people wouldn't read. I also didn't like when a teacher put us into a random group with people. It wasn't fun since some people wouldn't read, and I didn't like working with people I didn't know.

In my 6th grade, my ELA teacher made us write 2 pages about what we read in that day. We had a quiz about what we read everyday. I liked reading with my friends.
