Arctic Apples are genetically engineered Apples that do not brown. This have been a success as not only they are more atractive to the costumers but they also "last longer" as they do not show signs of aging or cuts/bruises and they are not thrown away. For this reason, Arctic markets them as better for the environment. They also have a fresher taste to them.
