Okulumuz 2003 yılı öncesi çevresinde bulunan sarı ve beyaz evler olarak bilinen sosyal konut öğrencilerinin okul ihtiyacı düşünülerek daha önce koy hizmetleri bakım evi olarak kullanılan derme çatma binada Turgut Çiftçi müdürlüğünde hizmet vermeye başlamıştır. Çevrede yapılaşmanın artması okulun sağlıklı bir ortamının olmaması nedeniyle şimdi kullanılan bina 2003 yılında hizmete açılmıştır. Okul İlköğretim okulu olarak hizmet vermeye başlayınca Keban yolu güzergahından taşımalı sistemle öğrenci almaya başlamıştır.
