We decided to use the first one that says 'Student Talk' for our news tickers and website, while we used the second, ST logo for our google sign in profile. However, we consider the first logo the main one that is used throughout our branding platforms.

We decided on the grey colours as they're simple and allows the white text to stand out. The text is clear and simple making it easy to read, meaning it is more recognisable. 

We kept to a simple font throughout our branding platforms, especially for the logos, so that everything is easy to read and simple, yet effective.
