From the beginning, each participant has contributed brilliant work in preparing for this exhibition. 

The exhibition is an exciting time for grade 6. This is the time for our students to show the kind of person they would like to grow into as well as the impact that they may have on the world that belongs to future generations. 

They successfully developed the five essential elements of the PYP during the process. As we all fight the global pandemic of Covid-19, the process becomes very challenging. They wowed us with their first-ever virtual Exhibition, demonstrating their enthusiasm for embracing new methods of learning and working! I can say with pride "here they are!"  Facing adversity, they have come out successful. There is no doubt that much of their understanding, knowledge, and skills have been mastered during their time in the PYP. 

Once again, I would like to acknowledge the incredible support from our parents and teachers, for sharing knowledge, expertise, and resources; You have truly embodied the spirit of the PYP community. 

I’d like to close with a quote from Colin Powell that says: “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.” We all know that your success today is the result of your preparation and hard work. No matter how many times you fail, you will learn to get up, try again, and overcome your failure. Please enjoy our very first virtual exhibition!

Thank you for allocating your time and energy to be with us.  
This year's PYP Exhibition is about finding one's passion. It is about knowing how passion can be shared with others and hopefully can provide advantages for ourselves and others.  Researching what students love and care about has brought them to understand themselves more.  When our work comes from the heart it may be better perceived by the hearts of others.

Witnessing and supporting the students’ journey in finding their passion is exciting.  We saw hesitation, uncertainty, and inconveniences that needed to be overcome so that students truly believe in their choice.  This allowed them to bring a bunch of brilliant, genuine, and thoughtful ideas.  

We could feel their energy and their compassion on the topics they chose, for it is not merely about them.  Our excitement could not be contained when they found deeper meaning in how their topic affects themselves and others.  

They have been gone through challenges, now they want to share their successes with all of us.  Take your time, be patient, feel their energy and support them with compassion as a fellow human.
