Stuff like magnetism and gravity are forces that are mostly move objects such as a ball. When you the ball up in the air it will always go down because of gravity pulling it down to the earth. Also for gravity you could use two magnets with a north side facing the But if the north side is facing the south side the will attract together. But when the north side and the other north side are facing each other they will not attract. So that is all for all.

Forces like magnetism and gravity effect position by pulling and sometimes pushing the object. Friction is different. It's between a push and a pull. It slows the object down. Magnets attract certain kinds of metal and push away/pull other magnets. Gravity makes small objects attract to giant ones. When you throw an object, you swing your hand and transfer it's velocity to the object. When you let go of it, your hand slows down but the ball maintains its speed. It goes flying while your hand stays still. The ball stays in the air for a while, but comes back down due to gravity.

Another example is say you are rolling a dice you can use your force and spin it. This is using a force it changes an objects movement. Forces can change an objects shape, because say you have slime, and you put it in a container the slime will change shape because of gravity. A way that force can change change an objects position by turning the car wheel to change the cars position.
