During the internship, we had to learn about 16 tongue twisters, my college supervisor told us to learn tongue twisters in Russian, but we have already learned it. Today my group and I made a presentation and created our padlet sites. When we made a presentation, I was lazy, but I was doing my tasks . Today was the second day of the internship. We were at the University of Central Asia, where we are working as volunteers. Our main task was to help prepare for the opening of the new campus. I also worked a little on my internship assignment, but I managed to complete all of my tasks.

I created a glossary, and together with my group Rayana and Sabina we recorded a video and translated a text.

Also, I learned two new tongue twisters — one in Russian and one in English. It was a long day, and I’m really tired now, but I feel proud of everything we did

Today was the fourth day of the internship. It was also my birthday. In the morning, we translated a text. This helped me improve my English and learn new words. Later, we went to the college and helped put certificates and diplomas into folders. It was part of the preparation for graduation.

My friends and classmates congratulated me on my birthday. I got many nice gifts and kind words. It was a very happy and special day.

Today was the fifth day of the internship. We went to the “Oxford Center Tokmok” There, we did different tasks: completed assignments, wrote glossaries, and translated a very interesting text. The text was about the largest organisms on Earth. It was scientific, but also written in a more popular style, so it was easy and fun to read. We found it very interesting and useful. We laughed a lot, had fun, and even had small arguments about the best way to translate some parts. It was a great learning experience.

Also, something unexpected happened — I fell and hurt my knees. It wasn’t serious, but still a bit painful. Despite that, the day was full of positive emotions and teamwork.

However, the day was also filled with emotion. One of my friends received heartbreaking news — her mother had been diagnosed with a serious illness and urgently needed surgery. We all came together to support her by helping raise funds for the treatment. This experience reminded us how important it is to care for others and stand together in difficult times.
