         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; Welcome everyone to my padlet today, I hope you enjoy it. &nbsp; My name is Laura Sofia Rodriguez Villalba,I am from Colombia and live in Santa Marta city&nbsp; I have 15 years old, I live with my family since that I have memory&nbsp; ( mother, father, sister) my sister is Daniela Rodriguez, my mother is Iris Villalba and the name my father is Raul Rodriguez.<br><br><br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; On the other hand some of my physical features are that: the color of my hair is very dark brown curly, my skin tone is light also I am 1.58 m tall, my body is of a slim build,&nbsp; leaning more on the personal side I am a respectful person with everyone who likes to help whenever I can, I am supportive, in most cases I feel that I stand out for resolving conflicts through dialogue, I like to take care of the environment.&nbsp;<br>Taking into account the above I must add that some things I like about people are: their ability to understand and listen, to give advice, when they help without expecting anything in return, loyalty, how they treat their loved ones among other things, on the contrary things I do not like about others are that they constantly tell lies, pretend something they are not just to please others, when they criticize or make fun of others, when they exclude and other things.<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Definition:<br>The infinitive of purpose refers to the infinitive structures in which the subject of the main<br>clause and the performer of the action (expressed by the infinitive) are the same.<br><br><br><br>RULES:<br> You can use a ‘to infinitive’ to express the purpose of an action (why you do<br>something).<br> We use the infinitive of purpose to express a person’s aim. It informs about the<br>reason of doing something.<br>To express this situation, we can use these structures that are similar in meaning:<br>in order to: to seem more formal;<br>so as to: for everyday use;<br>to: a short form of these two forms above.<br> To make the negative form, we add not before to-infinitive.<br> We use in order to and so as to before stative verbs like appear, have, know, seem,<br>understand… and the negative form in order not to if the purpose is to avoid<br>something.<br> The to-infinitive structure is used to express someone’s purpose.<br><br>STRUCTURE:<br>+ The ‘to infinitive’ is formed with to + base verb.<br>- The ‘to infinitive’ is formed with to + not+ base verb.<br><br><br>SENTENCES<br>1.He called me to invite us to the beach.<br>2.We moved not to see see him again.<br>3.          <description><![CDATA[<div>G E R U N D S<br><br>-Definition<br>Gerunds are verboids characterized by the fact that the action is being carried out.<br>RULES:<br> The gerund can have three uses in the sentence:<br>Subject, Object, Complement,<br> The general rule for applying the gerund is to add &amp;quot;ing&amp;quot; to the end of the verb, but<br>there are some special cases in which this rule does not apply.<br> For verbs ending with the letter e, the last letter is changed to the gerund &amp;quot;ing&amp;quot;.<br> Para los verbos que terminan en una vocal seguida de una doble consonante o una<br>doble vocal seguida de una consonante, añadimos &amp;quot;ing&amp;quot;.<br> For verbs that have only one vowel and end in a consonant, the last consonant must<br>be repeated or doubled, followed by an &amp;quot;ing&amp;quot;.<br> For verbs ending in a vowel followed by a double consonant or a double vowel<br>followed by a consonant, we add .<br> Consonant doubling also depends on the tonic syllable (the syllable that is<br>pronounced with the most intensity).
