I was extremely excited and filled with expectations. At the end of the day as we drew to the end of the park we were given the option of riding the tallest roller coaster in the park while those who didn't would leave in the first group. Only a hand full of us had the guts to even get in line. The smell of fried food coming from the concessions, the occasional waft of vomit from a unfortunate rider walking by. Even the sounds, like camp counselors yelling for trailing campers or the constant screams of the various thrilled riders. It all is so powerful. For me it was completely overwhelming at first. When I feel that migraine or emotional outburst filling me I just say my three words which clear me: be not afraid. I do it to calmly get out of my comfort zone.
