         <description><![CDATA[<div>Why has the composer chosen that instrument? Does the choice of sound affect the mood?<br>You can use adjectives  that describe the sound for this. Words like:<br>*Nasal<br>*Harsh<br>*Bright<br>You can also discuss the impact and affect of combining timbres. It could be a well-used combination like a string quartet or brass band  or an unusual combination of sounds.<br>Instruments (and voices) can also have multiple timbres across the register and with various techniques. This is called timbral variation and include things like :<br>vibrato. overblowing, playing very high or very low in the register, using a breathy tone, bending the pitch of the note etc.<br><br></div>]]></description>
