         <description><![CDATA[<div>WEX- excellent links now with the National Trust which are continuing for 18/19. Additionally properties have now been added for next year due to the success of this year.&nbsp;Table of activities from NT is excellent and links to curriculum units. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Enrichment- Erasmus placement to Braga for 6 students this year (for three weeks). Work placements there included golf and leisure club, tour guide and travel agency. Already booked in for 25 students for 18/19.&nbsp;<br><br>Travel staff are undertaking training to drive the college minibus to ensure we can take students on more curriculum relevant trips, including taking advantage of the college national Trust membership for example.&nbsp;<br><br>Additional trips were opened up to all groups for the trip to France/ Disneyland this year. We are in the process of planning next years trip abroad, possibly looking at a mini cruise.<br><br>Guest speakers in the form of travel agencies, cabin crew, holiday reps and from visitor attractions.&nbsp;<br><br>Local links with Bilston Brownies group that adds towards work experience and enrichment for learners. Industry links with Travel Counsellors, TUI, Thomas Cook, Co-Op travel, Peaks Travel and National Trust and a variety of hotels and VIC's around the West Midlands. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>E&amp;M- low attendance mainly due to timetabling issues and feedback from students are saying that lessons are not linked to vocational curriculum. Achievements rates also low. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>IT- lack of resources as well as issues with it not working on occasions. IT could be used so much more to enhance sessions but because of restrictions this has proved difficult so resulted in us reverting back to asking students to use their phones or paper based activities. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Progression within course is high- 73% of level 2's progressing to level 3 next year. 77% of first years progressing onto the second year. This years second year cohort have finished with a number working in the industry- one in a travel agency apprenticeship, one as cabin crew, two going to university and five working in hospitality (one abroad).&nbsp;<br><br>Would like to explain the courses as we have low numbers. Cabin crew/ HNC for example. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>RASA: This year has proven extremely difficult for some learners who have suffered with mental health issues. A number of safeguarding interventions have taken place to support these learners throughout their studies. This has resulted in a lower than expected attendance figure as well as impacting on our achievement overall.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>RASA- when learners have high levels of low attendance this has been followed up by their personal tutor and the rest of the team, and disciplinary procedures have taken place. Unfortunately, this has led to no consequence towards the end of their course because of our numbers and trying to keep them on the course. </div>]]></description>
