It matters because the people of the Min River don't have to fear of a flood, and the people of the flat (dry) land have water to grow crops + water to drink.All because Li Bing problem solved to get the solution.This is a lesson to never give up.

2.This matters because when you want to fix a flood you have to do a lot of work so you can earn money but in "the Pool'' everything they are doing is just get the pool out and trying to find the pump and sitting in their air conditionered house  but they did use teamwork
