This year we have a fifth grader reaching for Paul Eluard poetry at the bookstore and who is falling in love with history while learning about the American and French revolution (thank Ms. Smillie and Philippe). Our second grader still brags about talking to Vendee Globe skipper Damien Seguin, has grown confident enough in her reading that she reads herself to sleep, and trust you so thoroughly she'll confide in you her worries and fears (thank you Margaux, Ms. Henningsen, and Ms. Ryan). And thank you to all the teachers that have been there along the way. We are forever grateful.
