         <description><![CDATA[<div>For Debra Vines, the most obvious personal impact were:<br>- interruption on her professional career<br>- post-partum depression and loneliness&nbsp;<br>- not being able to have "personal time" which affects her mental health<br>- desperate for information on how to raise Jason&nbsp; (child with disability)&nbsp; with very little information back then about autism<br><br>She started The Answer Inc. help the families throughout the entire journey as it relates to advocacy, their peace for their children, supportive services, IEP (Individual Educational Report) support and awareness for the community as well.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For&nbsp; many families, to have a child with disability can have a significant impact on families in various ways. While each family's experience is unique, here are some common impacts:<br>- It brings a significant emotional and psychological impact. Families may experience a range of emotions, including grief, sadness, frustration, and worry, upon learning about their child's disability.<br>- The heavy need of the time and financial costs, including physical and logistical complexities associated with raising a disabled child can have far-reaching effects.<br>- It can reduce parents self-esteem and confidence in their role as caregiver.&nbsp;<br>- Mental health and wellness of parents are put at risk and&nbsp; increases the possibility of divorce and separation of parents.<br>- There is also impact on sibling relationships. Siblings of children with disabilities may experience both positive and negative effects. While they may develop empathy, compassion, and a sense of responsibility, but it can also happen that they may also feel neglected or burdened by the attention and resources devoted to their sibling&nbsp;<br><br>Reference:<br>Impact of Child Disability on the Family.
