Every night he would go out and watch the planets and stars. He would write in his journal at night.After a wile, Copernicus found out that the sun does not move .He also found out that the Earth was the one moving around the sun . A lot of people did not believe in his ideas. The priests and church were extremely mad at Copernicus.They thought that God made the Earth the center of the universe. That is why it was such a controversy. Long after Copernicus died, a man named Galileo agreed with Copernicus and was thrown into jail.
