Small peace of data sent from a website and stored on a user's device by the web browser while the user is browsing.

Example:

Imagine you go to your favorite coffee shop, and every time you visit, the barista remembers your name and your usual order — a caramel latte with oat milk. You don't have to remind them every time — it's like they remember you.

On the internet, a cookie works the same way. When you visit a website, it can store a small piece of information in your browser — like your name, login status, or preferences — so the next time you visit, the site “remembers” you and gives you a more personalized experience.

So, cookies are like the website’s way of being the friendly barista — remembering who you are and what you like.

A decentralized, distributed ledger technology that records transactions across many computers, ensuring security and transparency.

Example:

Imagine a notebook that’s passed around among a group of friends. Every time someone lends or borrows money, they write it down in the notebook. Once a page is full, it’s sealed and cannot be changed — and the next page starts.

But here’s the twist:

Everyone in the group has a copy of the same notebook, and everyone must agree before anything new can be written. That way, no one can cheat or change past transactions without everyone noticing.

That’s how blockchain works. It’s a secure and transparent digital record (like the notebook), where each “page” is a block, and all the pages linked together form a chain — the blockchain. And since everyone has a copy, it’s very hard to cheat or fake information.

When someone or something (a video, image, post) becomes extremely popular in a short time on internet.

Example:

Imagine you make a funny dance video and share it with a few friends. One of them thinks it’s hilarious and sends it to their friends. Then one of those friends posts it online, and suddenly thousands — then millions — of people are watching, sharing, and copying your dance.

That’s what it means to go viral:

It’s when something — like a video, image, or post — spreads very quickly and widely across the internet, like a virus does from person to person, but in a digital way.
