My Spanish cultural heritage has influenced my choices, drawing from traditions like flamenco and vibrant colours.

Fashion first piqued my interest at an early age having witnessed my father’s career as senior executive with renowned businesses in the retail world.

As you can see from my fashion story mood board, I have a genuine passion for streetwear but also classic, chic, and sophisticated fashion, such as historical fashion eras like the 1930s or 1940s when iconic pieces like Chanel's legendary collarless jacket and well-fitted skirt were introduced. Subcultures, such as vintage or minimalistic styles, also align with my elegant and classy preferences. One of my biggest inspirations, aside from my dad, is the iconic French fashion designer and businesswoman, Gabrielle Bonheur Coco Chanel, and her sensational story.

Moreover, platforms like TikTok and Pinterest have become influential in my daily outfit choices. TikTok's short videos expose me to a wide line-up of fashion content, from styling tips to reviews. Watching fashion influencers on TikTok inspires me and introduces me to new ideas. It's a space where trends are quick to emerge and gain popularity, influencing my fashion choices.

Ultimately, my fashion taste is a unique reflection of my personal preferences and experiences. While external influences, including TikTok, shape my style, it always aligns with what makes me feel confident, comfortable, and elegant.

I conducted this research by going to Covent Garden and carefully noting down all the different types of services available, including information on shopping, dining, entertainment, cultural attractions, beauty and wellness services, and more.

I also carried out secondary research and reviewed online resources about Covent Garden which provided a broader perspective and I even used ChatGPT to gather additional information.

We also conducted interviews in Covent Garden to determine how frequently people visited, which shops they preferred, where their outfits were from... I was actually the interviewer and really enjoyed this task as I am fond of interacting and conversing with strangers. The interviews added a personal touch to our research, allowing us to understand the preferences and behaviors of those who visit Covent Garden.

Through these interviews and my own primary research whilst I was there, I found that many of the people weren't primarily there for shopping. Most of them said they didn't have a particular favourite or go-to shop, and they often used the dining or theatre services rather than shopping.

I gathered all of my research and assembled it on our group Powerpoint presentation of our Shopping District task.

I absolutely loved the dress designs, finding them vibrant, lively, distinctive and prominent.

Most of the designs had loud and vivid colours, which is usually outside of my comfort zone, but these designs made me genuinely eager to wear them!

What stood out was how each section of the exhibition had its own distinct vibe, and I liked that everything was clearly explained in detail which made me immerse myself in the fascinating journey of each piece.
