Topic: Work vs Fun

Every guy or girl will consider something that they get paid for is work but something hard that is not paid for is fun.

For instance, when Tom says, “Enough to buy an exchange of work, maybe, but not half enough to buy so much as half an hour of freedom“(5). This shows no one will want to spend long doing something that is paid but when Ben says, “Oh shucks ill be just as careful. Now lemme just try. Say-ill give you the core of my apple. I'll give you all of it”(10). This quote shows that when ben is not getting paid he wants to do it but when he gets paid he would not want to do it.
