- Wisdom from Allah

- Difference between knowledge and hikmah:

* Knowledge: something new we hear/learn

* Hikmah: application of knowledge, using it for benefit

Example: throwing trash into a bin. If the intention is for Allah, that’s an act of worship. Hence, that is hikmah

Simple, but brings rewards (pahala)

- Characteristics of a person with hikmah:

1.	Knows when to speak, knows when to stay silent. Think first, then act

2.	Always refers to the Qur’an and Sunnah

    - A wise person views trials through the lens of faith

    - Allah gives trials to make us more humble (tawaduk), detached from worldly things (zuhud), and patient (sabar)

- Hence, the output/result is the sweetness of faith (halawatul iman)
