I don't believe so. The Chromebook has the battery capacity to last all day, so IF they charge it at night, they won't need to charge mid-day. WHEN they don't do this, however, they have to live with the natural consequences. Yes!! Tech-based discussions should not replace all verbal discussions. After we started to break up this morning, I was thinking a back channel might be neat to use in a Socrative Seminar or Fish-bowl discussion -- students are leading the discussions, viewers can post here, and we monitor, respond to, and prod students using this. -- Keleigh
