From this Surah, I learn that to be more sincere in doing acts of worship to Allah. It teaches me to not hope for a return when doing acts of worship. This is because Allah only accepts those acts which are sincere and only for Him. As stated in verse 14 "...then We aided those who believed against their enemy, and they become the uppermost", the victory from Allah is

Assalamualaikum korang!

Ayat 61:2 "You who believe, why do you say things and then do not do them?"
Ayat 61:3 "It is most hateful to God that you say things and then do not do them"
From this ayat, what I can understand is that it is so important to do what we have promised. I THINK AH I can feel guilty about this a little as I always "janji melayu". I found out that for us to gain taqwa, one of it is fulfilling promises. I understand the importance of fulfiling promises as promises are a heavy responsibility for us to carry as it also mean that we are keeping the trust between us and another party. Once you break it, it surely not something a true muslim should do.
Ayat 61:4
From this ayat, somehow i understand it as when one come tgt to do good for His Cause, everyone will be at the same level. Status, rank, family background, all does not matter. Remind me of solat jemaah where we all be standing beside one another shoulder to shoulder in a straight line. Hence, this ayat is beautifulllllll cos ma shaa allah i sense that unity in islam is very very important.

Other ayats what I understand is about how lies regarding Islam is a huge sin that we all should be avoiding.

Ayat 61:11
I like this ayat cos in my translated quran app, it used the phrase "struggle for His cause". It tell me alot honestly cos I interpreted it that in our lives, struggling is part of being a muslim. It make me feel that Allah want us to rely on him, to be strong, to never give up. This ayat remind me that whatever problems or struggle im gg thru is smtg I should be thankful and remind me to go thru this for His sake. :'''''') WEKENDUDIS

btw sorry for not being there guys in shaa Allah i be there next week!!!!
