I suppose I am considered a junior this year; as by next year I hope to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Applied Business Management.

My Bachelor's degree requires a humanities credit (foreign languages count) and my husband and his family are Vietnamese. Since I have always wanted to learn, this has become a win-win-win opportunity for me! 

Fun Facts: I live in Washington state -the western side, so lots of evergreens. I am a mother to 3 daughters, and in my spare time -when I can find it, I enjoy spending time with my family outside -expect this week, currently we are in a 96 degree heatwave.

My name is Ryan Nguyen. I usually go by Ryan, and I've gone by several names. However, please don't call me BRYAN haha.

I am unsure what my rank is- I have slowly completed my education on and off for the past six years. I have about 63 credit hours right now, so I believe I am a junior. I am an English major, and would like to teach English- specifically, I'd like to teach analytical writing, rhetoric, composition, grammar, etc. I am horrible at anything related to art such as creative writing, drawing, painting, etc! 

I am a first-generation American. Both of my parents are from South Vietnam. I am taking this class because between myself, siblings, and cousins, I am the best Vietnamese speaker. When my grandfather passed away, I was the only grandchild he could speak to. It made me sad knowing he had a large family, but could only communicate to one of his grandchildren. As such, I am learning Vietnamese to ensure I can teach enough to my children- I'd like for them to be able to speak the language with their grandparents. 

I think I'm a pretty boring individual- I barely use my phone, but I spend majority of my time between being active and reading.
