When I first got this book I thought it would be a more of an adventure type but it was really different people from different areas around the world answering questions. I found it hard to difficult to remember things because there were so many different stories in the book.

I enjoyed how the author tells a story of how Buck was kidnapped and sold to become a sled dog in the Yukon and how he develops his friendship with Jack Thornton. I really liked how Jack Thornton saved Buck's life from getting beaten.
