The first important scene in the book. During this moment Eddie dies after trying to stop the cart on the ride from falling. shortly after this the car falls on top of Eddie. I picked this scene because it shows how selfless he is, and how he's willing to sacrifice himself to save others

I picked this scene because i found it very interesting how all of his pain and worry has just disappeared. I feel like this was used to inform the reader that Eddie is in heaven at this moment. It seems very plausible that this was done to allow the blue man to later explain to Eddie the things that Eddie has done in life without making him worried.

I chose this scene because the Blue Mans answer implies that time isn't the same here as it is on earth. that time itself is different, perhaps warped even. It also tells us that time doesn't matter in heaven it ends up making the reader question how long its been as well.

In this paragraph the Blue Man informs Eddie on how he died because of him. The Blue Man explains how Eddies carelessness as a child ended up causing his death. He also explains how even the smallest actions can cause big ripples and connect with everyone. i picked this because it is the lesson of the entire first encounter.
