Propaganda takes what people are afraid of and amplifies that into the other side and is not always truthful. This is shown in how the ¨Jewish nose¨ looks like a 6 and that relates them to the (d e v i l). Religion is important so this is one way to make the opposing side seem bad. Anti-semitism didn't only go for the holocaust - it was from ancient times. However, Hitler used the term of anti-semitism and turned it into a sense of nationalism and race to encourage his country to fight for their "greatness." He also took it to extremes, not allowing citizenship to any Jews. During World War II, Hitler encouraged state-sponsored mass killings at concentration camps.

Germany tried to create jobs and give people money, but it ended up causing a complete economic collapse. They then lowered the value of money to counter the large amounts, but that just led to inflation. Overall, Germany was just failing economically. Hitler became popular for two reasons: 1) He blamed the economy's state on the Jews, giving them someone to blame for their problem.
