The message that can be learned from "I couldn't imagine wanting to dye my hair blond" is that it is good to be different and stand out, everybody is different whether its their ethnicity ,race ,features, intelligence, talents ,interests , and more. Mendoza used to feel insecure about how she was different from everybody else, she thought everybody except her fit in. Paragraph 4 states "but as I have matured, I have learned not to be ashamed about my ethnicity". She soon learns to love herself and her culture. Maturing is realizing everybody is different and special.

A message that can be learned that changes to be like everyone else is bad. You are special and unique you should never change yourself to fit in with other people. You should embrace your ethnicity and to accept who you are. You should think of everyone as the same no matter what their differences. In the text " I Couldn't Imagine To Dye my Hair Blond" it states " As I have matured, I have learned not to be ashamed of my ethnicity. Instead of hiding who I really am, I have embraced my Mexican heritage and have become proud of it. Finding out many opportunities that are available to students of Hispanic descent has motivated me even more to delve deeper into my culture". This explains that Even though she was different she has learned that being unique and different is something to be proud of, not to be plain and as simple as others.

A message that can be learned from reading "I Couldn't Imagine Wanting To Dye My Hair Blonde" by Christina Mendoza is everyone is unique in there own way, diversity is unique, being different is unique! For example, in paragraph 5 states, "The blonde girls are unique in their own way, but diversity makes the world go around." This shows that the Blonde girls are unique but diversity makes everything happen. Diversity is what makes Mendoza, Mendoza! Another example from paragraph 5 is, "I absolutely love being different and not walking the same path as everyone else." This proves that Mendoza loves being different, that being different is unique and amazing! In all, the message that can be learned is being unique is amazing, being different is unique. Its what makes this world a world. It's what makes our everyday life move.

When she says that she means that she doesn't know what culture she is in and it is hard for her to fit in. and not accepted by either. However in paragraph 4 it says "I learned not to be ashamed of my ethnicity instead of hiding who I really am.

The message that can be taken from read this text is "It takes time". I believe this because in paragraph four Christina Mendoza said that it took her time to mature and accept herself and her heritage. When you're a kid you want to be liked and accepted and so you grow insecurities and things you don't like about yourself, it takes time to heal from the little comments and to accept yourself. In paragraph 1 she says that she was bullied for looking different as a kid and so she started to hate herself, started to grow more and more insecurities and over time she realized there was nothing wrong with her. In conclusion, the message that can be learned from this is that "it can take time to accept yourself"

The message that could be learned from “I couldn’t imagine dying my hair blonde” by Christina Mendoza is that diversity is appreciated and you should accept yourself no matter the people around you. Mendoza went through the struggles of feeling like an outcast when she was younger, and this happens a lot. But then people learn to accept themselves within time, loving the fact that they are different and everyone else is too. For example, in paragraph five she states, “The blond girls are unique in their own way, but diversity makes the word go round” This shows that she appreciates the differences between people. Furthermore, In paragraph four she states, “Instead of hiding who I really am, I have embraced my Mexican heritage and become proud of it.” This shows that she has accepted herself and her culture. Overall, Christina Mendoza writes about how she struggled once when she was young, but she has grown to love herself and the diversity around her.

If you start to accept yourself, you will be happier and feel better about yourself and you wouldn't be insecure about everything that is going on that is bad for you in your life. When you like yourself, you wouldn’t be in bad situations or think so hard about yourself as much. When you start to like yourself, it is like rain clouds clearing and when you start to feel better, it is like having a good, sunny day. If everyone felt this way, the world would be more positive and better for everyone.

It is ok to be different from others because that is what makes the world go round. You are unique in your own way and nothing should make you change that. In the text, Mendoza learns to accept herself after being teased by her classmates because of her Hispanic heritage and you should to. Learn to embrace your ethnicity and the person you are. Throughout the text, Mendoza eventually realizes that being different is not a bad thing. After she learns to accept herself, Mendoza becomes the best person that she can and earns herself the title of a National Hispanic Culture.

This is because in the text it says "My fathers ethnicity is well respected, My sister was the beauty queen, My mom and brother are Caucasian". This piece of evidence shows that its dangerous to be insecure because when you're insecure you find the good in everyone else but not in YOU. Additionally, the text says "the blonde girls are unique in their own way but diversity makes the world go round." This shows that everyone is beautiful and we should accept ourselves no matter the people around us. All in All, Listening to others is what makes us miserable since that's what makes us special. Instead we should love ourselves and embrace other cultures since that's what makes us special.

And, no matter what's wrong with you, what makes you different, you're body, Were all perfect in different ways- were all our own person no matter the diversity. This is shown by how Mendoza explained how she learned to accept herself. This shows how, Time and age is a good way the learn acceptance. So, be proud of your ethnicity and culture. Mendoza was bullied for being different. This unfortunately made Mendoza insecure and restrict her from doing the things she wants to like doing better in school. Mendoza started to make up excuses and lies just because she feels different. The text states, "By this time, she had become extremely good at giving the "you're unique speech and beautiful" speech, but it was hard for her to truly empathize with me because neither she nor my father knew how I felt." This explains that Mendoza feels that her family fits in but she doesn't. Even if you are insecure take your time to love, understand and focus on yourself and not worry about others. When Mendoza finally earns herself she starts to feel good and do better in school.

The message that could be learned from the text “I Couldn’t Imagine Wanting to Dye My Hair Blond” is to embrace your ethnicity, no matter how long it may take to do so. For example, in the beginning of the text, Christian Mendoza viewed as a half breed, or an outcast. But with time she was able to embrace herself and who she was, and even embrace others instead of becoming her childhood bullies.

The important message I learned from reading "I couldn't Imagine Wanting To Dye My Hair Blonde" by Christina Mendoza is that its ok to be yourself . Also to accept others . In the text states "I absolutely love being different . this shows that being different isn't not a bad choice . She also states that "I learned to not be ashamed of my ethnicity". This shows that sometimes it might take a while to accept the your heritage , but its always okay to be proud of your heritage.

In the reading “ I couldn’t Imagine Wanting To Dye My Hair Blonde” by Christina Mendoza the message I learned is that It’s okay to be different and you should embrace that. In the text it states that “ time does have a way of healing things. I didn’t just wake up one morning and think, I’m proud to be Hispanic, but as I have matured, I have not to be ashamed of my ethnicity”. This shows that she is able to accept herself and her heritage. Also that u should not be ashamed for being different.“Finding out about the many opportunities that are available to students of Hispanic descent has motivated me even more to delve deeper into my culture.” This one shows that when your able to accept your self your able to accomplish more things.
