Snowy Pages Reading Challenge: December 1st 2024. Encourage students to read books throughout December with a focus on holiday-themed stories, winter books, or any genre of choice. Students embark on a “reading journey” where they complete different reading activities each week (e.g., reading a book from a different genre, sharing a book review with friends or family... For each week, students will receive a progress sheet, for students who complete all four weeks will receive a Snowy Pages Reading Challenge certificate and will entered into a raffle for a holiday-themed book prize or other rewards.

4/12: Hug someone and take a photo with them, at the end of the day they will post and submit it on a form we create, the one with the highest number of photos will receive a certificate and gifts 🎁

5/12: A competition for volunteers students to clean the canteen desk after lunch, each student will have 4 desk to clean and the one who clean fastest and cleanest will win

20/12: A tug of war game between each class, the home room teachers can join

A perk auction in the 20th of December. Before the main event, international teachers of different subjects will first come together to come up with 3 perks that are of great benefit to the student(ex: Algebra teachers: +20% points on next homework assignment). After every group(grouped by subject) submits their 3 perks, the homeroom teachers will assign their class with a certain amount of "points" to take with them to the auction. The classes are to choose 3 representatives to participate in the auction. In the 20th of December, the auction will begin and groups of international teachers will come up and introduce one of their selected perks and convince the students to buy the chosen perk. This will go on until the teachers are all out of perks. Maybe extra points can be given out after the all the teams are too low on points.
