Diversity in the workplace is important because we all come from different walks of like. But when we come together, we make a team. Knowing your employee's weakness and strengths, helps to create opportunities for your employees to grow. Also, the company should have a performance evaluation done on the business as well. This is done by the employees on the business. A lot of companies are moving to these to help evaluate the business overall. Some companies call it " The Voice Survey" this gives the employees who work for the company the ability to evaluate the company as a whole.

Once the evaluation results have been determined, managers must now act on these results. For the employee evaluations, they should see where the employee needs growth at and working on a detail plan to support that employee. Identify the problem, create a plan and then execute the pln. When the company receives the results from the overall company evaluation, they must determine where the companies lack based of the feedback from the employees. Identify a realistic solution and then take action. But the company also needs to follow back up with the employees concerning the steps put in place to solve the problem. The manager must follow back up with the employee concerning the plan put in place to help support the employee.
