Hello Parents and Students,

    This will be our last week with Zoom meetings because we are having our Chromebook turn in day on Tuesday the 26th and Monday the 25th is a holiday. Because of this I thought it would be fun to do something a little bit different. So...

I thought it would be fun to dress up as what you are going to be in the future! It can be a full costume, you can make it together, or something as simple as a name tag saying what your job is. Have fun with this! You will be reading the Tuesday "You in the Future" Zoom assignments work to your classmates on Friday in small groups, so please try and get this assignment done by Friday.

     Esta será nuestra última semana con las reuniones de Zoom porque vamos a tener nuestro Chromebook entregado el martes 26 y el lunes 25 es feriado. Debido a esto, pensé que sería divertido hacer algo un poco diferente. Entonces...

¡Pensé que sería divertido disfrazarse de lo que será en el futuro! Puede ser un disfraz completo, pueden hacerlo juntos, o algo tan simple como una etiqueta de nombre que indique cuál es su trabajo. Diviértete con esto! Leerán las tareas de Zoom "You in the Future" del martes para sus compañeros de clase el viernes en grupos pequeños, así que por favor intente hacer esta tarea antes del viernes.

**This week I want you to do your own research. You are going to have to do this with a family member. You need to pick an animal and find 2 physical adaptations that your animal has that help it survive where it lives. Physical adaptations are things that it can do (like run fast or climb trees) or things that it has on its body (like a long neck or long legs). Draw a picture of your animal and make sure that we can see the two physical adaptations in your picture. Write a sentence for each thing that you chose. You can find information about your animal on youtube, google, or wikipedia. PLEASE DO THE RESEARCH PART OF THIS ASSIGNMENT, WHERE YOU ARE SEARCHING ONLINE FOR INFORMATION, WITH A PARENTS!! Bring your picture and sentences to our Friday Zoom meeting to share! 

 

**** Esta semana quiero que hagas tu propia investigación. Tendrá que hacer esto con un miembro de la familia. Debes elegir un animal y encontrar 2 adaptaciones físicas que tu animal tenga que lo ayuden a sobrevivir donde vive. Las adaptaciones físicas son cosas que puede hacer (como correr rápido o trepar a los árboles) o cosas que tiene en su cuerpo (como un cuello largo o piernas largas). Draw pictures of the consumers from the food web on one side of the paper and the producers from the food web on the other side of the piece of paper. **Do the first art project in your packet called "Draw a Chameleon". Chameleons are known for being able to hide by changing their color to blend in with the things around them. Draw a picture of a chameleon in a place where they are blending in. Use your imagination. It can be anywhere you want. Watch the video below to help you understand what I mean. See how the chameleon blends in with the leaves behind it when it turns green. Bring your picture to your Zoom meeting on Friday.
