However by applying for patent will cost the GM food price to increase and due to high cost third world country farmers will not be able to purchase material to product GM crops.

US market now demand more on Non GMO food as many people now demand for natural food instead of food that had been processed. 

Apart from the demand of the people, the marketing skills of a company had also affect the demand of the consumer. Packaging and label had affect consumer mindset in believing that the food they purchased is actually more healthier compared to GMO food.

this article talk about whether the GMO food is harmful to our body but in fact there's no solid proof and it is an ongoing scientific study however it is true that some genetic changes can increase the nutrients in the vegetable or crops and also more resistant to diseases etc.

This article explains to the reader as well as elaborating on the reason of the upcoming trend which is organic food.

There are a few determinants of demand that would affect the demand curve and i this case the demand curve for organic food expands to the right as there is an increase in demand for organic food. one of the determinants that affect the change in the demand curve is the taste and preference of the consumers. Due to the change in the taste and preference of the consumers therefore there is an increase in the demand. when there is an increase in demand there would also be an increase i the number of sellers thus that is the reason why the farmers would need to hire more workers in order to meet the demand of the consumers. 

Thus in this article it elaborate more on the consumers taste and preferences and how it affects the market of organic food.
