I think that the Stasi will find Gerta digging and arrest her and maybe her dad or mom and come and bail her out and then maybe her dad will start digging too and maybe her mom and anna will help her or they will get mad and not let her go back.

so first frits is going to be attacked while Gerta is at the building cause the stasi have been looking at a weird person going to a building and it was really Greta but they believe that is was frits so they attack and beat him to death the also kill anna because she is being rude to a guard and Gerta is also forced to make a garden so she wont be found out by the stasi also the people will finally rush the wall and fight the guards to get freedom and in that crowd gerta will go further into the room and find a way to get to the other side when she finds a way she will run back to her house to tell her mom but she will find her mom dead so she will just run to the other side of the wall crying but she will see stasi guards there and that is where she will become a robot and use her robot kung-foo to get to the other side of the wall and find her family and then her whole family is dead so she has to fend for herself in the cold hard world

i think the dad had already built the hole and was telling her to dig to the door which was leading to a mineshaft, which goes under the death strip and leads to the other wall. She makes it but just barely and the stasi come looking for her in the east.
