         <description><![CDATA[<p>The currency act is when we had no silver or gold mines and we could only get them by trade. Many of the colonists felt no alternative to printing their own money. Then on September 1, 1764 the British made an act that they control our currency continuing with the pattern we were angered.</p>]]></description>

Although they weren't supposed to fire, they did for self-defense.&nbsp; In the end, 5 of our men were killed and 6 were wounded.          <description><![CDATA[<p>During the Boston Tea Party the colonists dressed up as the Mohawk Indian tribe. They snuck on boats and threw 90,000&nbsp;lbs. of tea over board. In total that was 342 chests of tea&nbsp;which is&nbsp;equal to 3 shiploads.</p>]]></description>

A fun fact is&nbsp; that the "shot heard round the world" happened during this battle. &nbsp;No one knew who shot it or from which side. Another fun&nbsp;yet sad fact is that the British won. The importance is that this was the first battle.&nbsp;The battle of Concord made us mad since they tried to capture John Hancock and Sam Adams.&nbsp; In that battle we won and they retreated.</p>]]></description>

Prescott fulfilled what Paul Revere was supposed to.</p>]]></description>
