Understanding that humans as social beings have morphed (at least in our culture) in their methods of communication, I would be remiss not to jump on this train.     • I feel this course would be valuable to me as I explore other technology formats to reach and teach my students.  I feel that I was thrown into implementing many resources without fully understanding them.  In addition to that, I feel this course will help build my understanding and confidence as an educator as I explore ways to integrate what I have learned and acclimate into a post-pandemic learning environment.

    My goal is to learn what I can to bring back to my classroom so that I can equip my students.  I feel that there are many tech tools that I haven't fully discovered to better support my students.  I would like to glean a better understanding of what has and hasn't worked for others so that I can better collaborate with my school plc, learning teams, and district to better serve our students.  I think this pandemic has taught us many things about our students and their need to understand technology and manipulate it more proficiently.

    I am actually somewhat hopeful that this course will have little value to me because we all will be back to normal in the fall!  But even if that is the case, I think that learning more about different technologies will be valuable in the regular classroom as well as the on line classroom.  My goal in this course is to learn as much as possible about different learning platforms both in terms of options and how to use them.

    I am hoping to find new energy (renewal) for myself to continue building content (online). Learning and experimenting with new technologies with supports in place will help me feel competent and more comfortable in presenting to students. As I worked with a very small group of teachers - I was often the one who had the most knowledge about utilizing technology. However I felt that I was not that advanced or that knowledgeable and would have loved to have the ability to collaborate with colleagues who were knowledge about the platforms we were using. There wasn't enough time in the day for teacher to teacher learning or sharing. I find that my own personal style of teaching is very hands on - it was hard to translate that energy to a screen. I would like to have a resource that could potentially list what platforms work best for what and how others have been able to incorporate them into their classrooms.
