1. Do you use any of these strategies when accessing news? Which ones?

- Yes, I follow reliable sources such as the national television channel or national newspapers, and I compare the news.

2. What else do you do?

- I listen to the radio because it usually provides more context and analysis.

3. What was the last news story you discussed with someone? Where did you read or hear it?

- It was about the Copa América, the match between Colombia and Bolivia, which I read on the website of a national newspaper.

Below is your answer to the question.

4. How important is it to understand what is happening in your country or in the world?

- It is very important because it helps us to be aware of events that can affect personal, professional, family and national life.

5. How can fake news be dangerous?

- Fake news can create panic, spread misinformation and manipulate public opinion. They can influence elections, cause conflicts, and cause people to make decisions based on incorrect information.

6. How do you think social media sites should deal with fake news?

- Social media sites should implement better fact-checking systems, such as hiring people who can spot false information faster. They could also include clear warnings about questionable content.

7. Who should pay to find and change fake news?

- Ideally, social media platforms should fund this effort, as they are the main channels where fake news is shared.

Would you rather be a fake news writer or a fact-checker? Why?

- I prefer to be a fact-checker, as I would be contributing to the truth and helping to combat misinformation.
