On my country visit, I engaged with the place by using my all senses to observe movements, sounds and drama happening in the environment. When I visited the place, it was drizzling and strong wind blowing around. I noticed trees and bushes were dancing with the flow of the wind and the little raindrops falling on the tree’s bushes and ground. I heard the beautiful music created by the wind swishing sound, birds chirping and leaves movement sounds. I saw the birds flying and beautiful movements of the clouds to create drama in the sky and the movements of tree branches and bush leaves to create drama on the ground. I felt that the little raindrops were enjoying by trees, leaves, land and by myself. I smell the soil as it was a drizzling happening at that time. I saw the leaves of the bushes and trees we're enjoying the wind flow, but they had their own movements.

This experience made me to think the beauty and the richness of the nature in our lives. I thought that nature and land is alive all the time and all the humans and non- humans contribute to create a meaningful memory in the presence of the nature. Nature provides us so many things without any cost such as oxygen, sunlight, water, air. I always respect nature and feel relaxed by enjoying the company of nature and its components. This experience supports me to connect myself with the aboriginal perspectives of respecting land and nature and understand the Aboriginal stories about the interconnections between humans and more than humans. (Hamm, 2015).

I remembered my childhood memories when I used to climb up the fruit trees, made toys from clay and dance, dance with the mum’s scarf to feel and see the flow of the strong wind, sing songs and play under rain for a longer period. Pretend play is one of the dominant form of outdoor play by allowing the greater sense of freedom (Wilson, 2007 p. 4,5).

 Planning excursions to the natural parks and wetlands allow the children to experience dance, sound and drama through play in the natural world and support them to make a connection with the nature and understand the importance of nature in our lives.

Explanation of my artefact.

My artefact consists of the beautiful movement, drama and sound present in the nature created by the wind, birds, trees, bushes and clouds. When I was capturing my artefact, I remembered the view of Pauline Oliveros that there is a difference between listening and hearing as listening support us to make a connection between sound and music. (TED, 2015). It shows leaves of the trees and bushes were dancing differently with the same flow of the wind. Long tall and wide bushes were connected to each other and dancing together. My artefact captured the beautiful birds chirping sound and a flying bird. There was dark clouds movement in the sky and a little drizzling happening that create a beautiful drama to generate feelings, memories and imaginations.

Explanation of my creative work.

I create my creative response on my same country visit place because I want to be the part of the humans, non-humans and nature and take natural music of the wind and birds chirping at the background for my dance movements and singing to show my imagination as a bird, tree, clouds, bushes and human. My imaginations are:

If I am a bird, my voice is sound, and I want to fly high in the sky with a feeling to touch the sky.

If I am a tree, I'm going to dance with the flow of the wind and enjoy the sunshine and rain shower all the time.

If I'm a cloud, I'm going to be the part of the sky and bring the rain to touch the ground.

If I am bush, I open my arms to make connection with my fellow bush.

I am a human; I love to dance under the rain and enjoy the wind with the dancing prop to feel the flow of the wind.

Future practice in early childhood education.

In my future practises I will provide opportunities to children to use dance movements for storytelling and to represent their imagination. Such opportunities support children to develop their self-esteem, imagination, social, communication and creative skills. I am always implementing my nature pedagogies to create an environment for children where they can connect themselves with nature through senses by participating in the place thought walk and by organising natural parks and wetland excursion programs for children’s nature play to make them their connection with natural materials and engage them with the sound, drama and movement happening in the nature as children are attracted to the natural world. Natural play promotes children’s holistic development and naturalistic intelligence and also develops the sense of caring and responsibility towards the natural world. (Wilson, 2007, p.6).
