Mama: “Son, how come you talk so much ‘bout money?” Walter: “Because, it is life, Mama!” Mama: “Oh—so now its life. Money is life. Once upon a time freedom use to be life—now its money. I guess the world really do change…” Walter: “No—it was always money, Mama. We just didn’t know about it.” p. 74 

This quote relates to the character trait because it shows that all Walter talks about is Money and his goals and achievements are all set on money.

Walter to Mama: “What you need me to say you done right for? You the head of this family. You run our lives like you want to. It was your money and you did what you wanted with it. So what you need me to say it was all right for? So you butchered up a dream of mine—you—who always talking ‘bout your children’s dreams.” P. 94,95 

This quote relates to Walter because he dreamt of having a liquor store and his mom took that dream out of his hands. He was hoping to change the way him and his family lives by opening up a liquor store so his family can thrive and not work too hard.

This poem relates to my character because this poem is describing greed. Greed which is the want for more, which in this case is money. The poem says that passion burns for more which in Walter's case is supported
