I wish for Art room to be at level 1😇

I wish to start a Chinese Orchestra CCA in our school. A Chinese Orchestra offers an opportunity for students to develop discipline, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation of Chinese arts. With strong student interest and our school’s unique cultural positioning, I am confident that reviving this CCA will enrich our students’ holistic development and school spirit.

In recent years, Chinese music education has been on the decline, with more and more schools disbanding their Chinese orchestras due to limited resources or waning interest. This is truly regrettable. As an SAP school committed to nurturing bilingual and bicultural students, we should have the courage to shoulder the responsibility of cultural preservation. Chinese orchestral music is not only a vital part of our heritage, but also a powerful medium to cultivate students’ cultural appreciation and aesthetic sensibilities. Even if it is just a small step, we can do our part to keep this tradition alive and meaningful.
