Wikipedia is known as a place students go to find information fast. I think that it is a great place for students to contribute their research. Encourage them to not just be consumers, but contributors!

Wallwisher is a great tool to use for teachers and students. I use it to brainstorm and for sharing ideas. It can also be used as a parking lot to post questions or comments.

DropBox is a great tool for storing and sharing your files in the cloud. Sharing is easy, simply provide a link to the file and others can view or download it.

Socrative is a great tool and is a wonderful way to assess students for understanding.

I use Edmodo! It is especially helpful

to easily communicate with parents

as well as my students. The students

love the learning games and being able

to talk between the 3 classes. But, naturally

they use DE and Google as search engines!

Provides structure for 4 classes to work together to provide feedback and comment on blogs... authentic audience! Great for writing!

Students can add pictures, draw pictures, narrate, and write a story.

That opens a URL, image, or text. Perfect for getting younger students to a website

All of our grade levels love creating multimedia posters in Glogster - whether to explain a topic, show how to do something, or teach something of interest to someone else!

I am favoring Infuselearning.com over Socrative. It has more features and is easy to use to assess students.

PhotoPeach is great for digital storytelling! The students or teacher can use music, pictures, words, etc to tell a story. You can also add questions to it! What I really love about it is the capability for students to peer review! Here is an example.
